Birdcall Will Hatch in the Former Tom's Home Cookin' Space
By the end of April, Birdcall will launch in the Five Points neighborhood in the now-shuttered Tom's Home Cookin' restaurant. Behind the new concept and venture is chef Jean-Phillipe Failyau, along with his team that includes Peter Newlin and Rachel Sanford. Failyau, who built his small restaurant empire in Denver around the popular Park Burger (and Park & Co.) and the charming Homegrown Tap & Dough, is switching gears with Birdcall, straying from the all-American burger and pizza but "honoring the legacy that Tom's Home Cookin' brought," according to director of operations Peter Newlin.
