Giving back

Community is the heart and soul of everything we do at Birdcall. That’s why we put our heads together and created our community giveback program. We reinvest a percentage of our sales back into the communities we are so fortunate enough to be a part of.

Our beneficiaries range from local street artists and musicians to schools and non-profit organizations. We also make a point to support timely causes, such as sending much needed funds to Australian and Colorado wildfire relief, in addition to providing 200,000 meals to Colorado healthcare heroes on the frontlines of COVID-19.

1% BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

We hatched an idea early on that is was important to us to support local communities. So in 2019, we launched our community initiative, ONE PERCENT, inspired by Yvon Chouinard and Patagonia’s “1% for the Planet”. We pledge to reinvest 1% of our sales back into local communities. Since then, we have partnered with myriad nonprofit organizations in Colorado and Arizona and from around the world.

Heeding the call, we recognized the need to support Australia and our home state of Colorado in their efforts to fight wildfires and provide wildlife rescue and rehabilitation operations during the devastating and unprecedented brush fires in early 2020. We partnered with WIRES animal rescue to support their important efforts. We continue to partner with a number of local schools around the Denver metro area to ensure they’re receiving the support they need to continue to provide superior education to our youth.

Our ONE PERCENT program drives us every step of the way, and we hope you feel good about dining with us and supporting a larger cause.

Fuel Hope Kitchen

In the early days of COVID-19, our team jumped into action to step up and meet the need to support our healthcare heroes by providing meals. Today, 'Fuel Hope Kitchen' has prepared and delivered more than 200,000 nutritious meals to Colorado caregivers all across the state - from the Pawnee National Grassland to the Rio Grande National Forest.

As the global COVID pandemic continues, so do we. But we need your help to keep this initiative going. Learn more about how you can support your local healthcare heroes and donate to provide even more meals as a way to express our gratitude for everything they do to keep us safe.

ARt

Art has always been a guiding principle at Birdcall. And that is reflected in a number of custom murals that are showcased on our buildings, inside and out. We are so proud to partner with local artists and street muralists. If you are an artist interested in a collaboration with us at one of our upcoming restaurants, please reach out to us at hello@eatbirdcall.com.
